About

Babylon Revisited was named after a short story of the same name, written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I thought the idea of having and creating a web-site sounded pretty entertaining. I made the very first layout for Babylon Revisited almost five years ago. I suppose one could say I'm more interested in web-designing than writing, so please forgive me my humble descriptions and other ramblings, which you may stumble upon while browsing this personal web-site of mine.

For this layout, I used a pattern of my own. If you'd like to use it too, please ask first.

My name is Lea. If you look closer, you'll notice almost clear freckles on my face. I also had bangs for the last two years. As for my looks, I have a long hair of dark brown color and some sort of - green-brown eyes. I'm usually drawing and occasionally taking photographs.

I'm interested in all sorts of things, such as the history of British Raj, Rome, Russian Empire, Napoleonic Wars and perhaps even Egypt; sometimes, I ask too many questions. I tend to be hasty and impatient from time to time, but overall, I'm pretty much peaceful and friendly.

These are some random facts about me. About six years ago, my grandfather ordered around fifty calling cards with my name; there were only four of them left for me to keep. I'm not particularly fond of Jane Austen. I also dislike Marie Antoinette. Fashion magazines often inspire me. I'm terrible at remembering poems and quotations.

My favorites amongst the literature | The Great Gatsby & The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I would consider F. Scott Fitzgerald as my favorite author.

Music | Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, The Decemberists, easy-listening, and some classical music of the Romantic era.

Television | I always love to watch good documentary films with David Attenborough.

Film | Lawrence of Arabia, Lawrence of Arabia and some more Lawrence of Arabia.
